City kolkata tremor with earthquake

Kolkata and adjoining area experienced earthquake tremors this morning causing panic among the citizens.citizen rushes out of their house and office in the open roads.The tremor was felt 10.10 am lasted for few seconds with magnitude between estimated 5.2-5.8 left the whole city in panic mode,Earlier report stated that epic centre of the earthquake was ghorashal, bangladesh approximately 14-18 km of Dhaka.

   Instial report suggested that magnitude of the earthquake estimated around 5.2 r/s -5.7 r/s,epicenter  ghorashal bangladesh northeast of Dhaka,depth approxirmately 10 km typically moderate size.tremors felt 10.10 am lasted 6-15 sec.

Impact in Kolkata and nearby area
Tremor was felt in most part of Kolkata including salt lake, Newtown and Rajarhat as well as district of Nadia, north and south 24 pargnas cooch bihar and Dinajpur.
Eye witnesses while talking to us informed us multi storey building feeling the quake fan started to swayed.despite of the initial panic no causality, damagees and injury had been reported in the district of west bengal.
