No Deased/Shifted/Duplicate voter in 2208 booths in west bengal

In West Bengal, there are 2,208 polling booths where the Election Commission of India (ECI) found no deceased, shifted, or duplicate voters during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls. All enumeration forms distributed in these booths were returned filled, indicating that there were no names of dead voters, no duplicates, and no voters who had shifted elsewhere recorded at these booths

.The highest number of such booths is in South 24 Parganas with 760 booths, followed by 228 booths in Purulia and 226 in Murshidabad. Other districts with booths of this nature include Howrah (94 booths) and Kolkata (1 booth). The Election Commission has put these booths under scrutiny since it is unusual that no dead or shifted voters were reported, and DEOs (District Election Officers) have been asked to clarify the details regarding the accuracy of the voter lists at these locations.
